Email Support

In order to use your email mailbox on your PC or via the
Internet, you need to perform a series of tasks. For the richest email management
environment, we recommend Microsoft Outlook. For the most convenient access
to your email mailbox, from any Internet-enabled PC, we recommend using
the Internet. You choose the access method that works best for your busy
lifestyle.

Configuring Microsoft Outlook
Outlook is a full-featured email management program providing
the richest email environment available. We use Outlook to manage our emails
at Bryant Design. Configure Outlook on each of the PC's you intend to use
to send and receive emails. Each PC can manage one or more email mailboxes.
Perform these tasks only once, before you send or receive mail
- Open Outlook on the PC you will use to manage a specific email mailbox.
- Click Tools, then Accounts to open the accounts configuration window.
- Press the Add button in the top right corner of the window.
- Select Mail from the drop-down list to activate the Internet Connection
Wizard.
- Enter the Display Name (the From field you want for emails you send).
- Click on the Next button.
- Enter the email address for this mailbox, including the @ sign and the
domain. (A good example is webadmin@bryantdesign.com).
- Click on the Next button.
- Enter mail.yourdomain.com (ex. mail.bryantdesign.com) for incoming
mail.
- Enter smtp.yourdomain.com or the SMTP address specific for your
Internet Service Provider (ex. smtp.newsouth.net) to configure outgoing
mail.
- Click on the Next button.
- Enter the email address of this mailbox (ex. webadmin@bryantdesign.com),
enter the password, and check the remember password checkbox.
- Click on the Next button.
- Select the access method you will use, phone line or local area network.
- Click on the Finish button.
- Send yourself a test email, then click the Send/Receive button, and
wait for the email delivery. If an error occurs, click on the Mail Delivery
Error icon.
Accessing Your Email from any Internet-enabled PC
Every time you access your email mailbox
- Enter mail.yourdomain.com (example mail.bryantdesign.com) into
your Internet browser software (such as Internet Explorer or Netscape)
- Enter your mailbox name (ex. webadmin@bryantdesign.com) and password
into the corresponding boxes.
Optional Configurations
- Click the Personal Account Options drop down box.
- Edit My Preferences: to manage attachments, save sent messages,
include email signature, enable spell checker, and more.
- Change Password: to reset your password to enhance privacy.
- Change Mail Forwarding: to forward mail to another mailbox.
